Pause for a smile, a giggle or a groan.

I've been finding comedic relief in cartooning for about three years now. National and international publications have bought them and my "Laughing Matter" feature is a regular in the Sandpoint newspaper.

  All well and good, but I shall not rest until I crack the great granddaddy of them all, The New Yorker. True, 'toons require more than arranging 26 letters and my illustration skills are lacking, but it's the thought that counts.

Or so I keep telling myself.
